The Hearing Club – Benalla

The Hearing Club Benalla is a local and independent hearing clinic operational since 1992.

Our aim is to assist the hearing impaired in achieving the greatest enjoyment from life.

We are a family business accredited to provide services through the Commonwealth Office of Hearing Services system, WorkSafe and experienced in excellence providing services to private clients in the area. We are proud of our history and commitment to the local community improving lifestyle through better hearing.​

Our Audiology services include:

• • full hearing assessments to adults and children above five years of age
  • employment assessments and police assessments
  • free hearing services to pensioners and DVA Gold card holder and White Card
  • customised ear plugs: swimming plugs, noise plugs and musician plugs
  • free screenings in the clinic and accessible to the community at events upon request
  • assistive listening devices to the hearing impaired: television, headphones, landline telephones, smoke alarm system, alarm clocks and others
  • hearing rehabilitation including fitting of hearing aids with latest technology of approved brands and styles by the Office of Hearing Services
  • on the spot cleaning and minor repair of hearing aids after hours and Saturday appointments upon request (conditions apply)

Community Health is a division of Benalla Health and was established in 1989 to provide community-based services to both the Benalla and Mansfield districts. Since its inception, the service has grown from a small team of employees offering three programs to a staff of over 66 encompassing a broad range of Community and Allied Health services.

Ken Gilmore

Was born in Inglewood and moved to Bendigo in his late teens Ken has been serving the Bendigo hearing community for the past 20 years from our Bridge St site and our many visiting sites.

He is a passionate hearing service provider and a stronger peoples person which enables him to obtain outstanding and consistent hearing outcomes of our clients. And always service with a smile.

Leanne Berry

Leanne Berry is a customer service specialist and a familiar face to all our patients in Bendigo. Leanne has been working in the clinic for over 20 years, is a Bendigo local and is extremely engaged and satisfied with what her job brings. A very light presence with a ready smile on her face, she provides a wealth of knowledge and support for newer staff members. She knows nearly every patient by name. They surely know hers too! Let’s not forget her mum’s sponge cake – that makes her even a more valuable member to the team!

Jackie Guillou

Jackie Guillou moved to Bendigo area 2 years ago from Melbourne suburbs and commenced work at the Clinic shortly after. She quickly immersed herself into Bendigo life by joining clubs such as Bendigo Athletic Club.

She has had over 25 years experience in customer service and administration and prides herself on being friendly and polite when dealing with patients.
She enjoys being a valued team member!
